What do you like about Swell?

And so it's kind of like a podcast in the sense that you can listen to this long list of replies in a post, and then you can respond to that. So it's like it's like a podcast that you can respond to pretty much. And I think that's pretty cool in its own right. I'd like to hear what you guys enjoy about Swell

And so that's what what what do you like about swell, actually, with just the written word, you can't always be certain of someone's tone or someone's intention. But when you hear their voice, you can hear them, but you can hear them in a bigger sense, because you get all the inflections of their voice that helps define what they're really trying to say. So this is why I enjoy it

So I think that's really what makes me excited about this platform is the Grace it affords all of us so that we can think and then we can put a pause on here and then think some more and then unpause. I don't use this pause button enough. Actually, I just sort of blunder through, but I'd like to try to use the pause more, but it's interesting we're all learning. So this is a great conversation. Nick, thanks for starting

You can stop for a couple of seconds, record a response, or either record a question and other and launch it out into the atmosphere and then go back and check to see how folks are responding to it. So I really like that. And again, it's just fun. And another way to communicate

You have a conversation, you can have some banter, every single thing is other or you can learn from someone, have a podcast, have an interview, all those things. So you're always going to use this up as long as it doesn't get polluted and just turn into someone don't know that someone

The one thing that I have found on Clubhouse that I do like are the conversations about Prince and the stories of people who worked with him. Other than that, I haven't really found as many interesting conversations as I do on Swell, so I appreciate Swell for that

Thanks for the post. Thanks fir the shout out @roomi, @kimestryarts

And for me being bookish and all of that I have had, I think a couple of book clubs here so far, and I know I was going to start the third one, and I just got super busy. But the book club aspect of it is just absolutely great because you're discussing a book and then someone else comes in and goes, what about this? And you're like, oh, yeah

You get to have real conversation without prejudices and skip the small talk!

Swell is really different because you actually get to have the sort of personal interaction of actually having a conversation with the person. And one thing I really like about Swell is that you know how when you meet people, you start with small talk, you start with background and what they do and things like that, you know, the whole thing where and then you move on to the bigger stuff. It's a long process. Well, you don't have to know someone's background or anything

Hey, Auhona, I just wanted to reflect on your response to this conversation, and thanks for reinvigorating it with regard to conversations that start with small talk and the relief that there are conversations here that drop in really deeply. I never really have thought about it in terms of the comparison that you just gave us, but you're right
