I'm curious, how is your sleep right now? How are you guys doing with sleep? Kind of taking a you know, I guess a poll and also an assessment and for many reasons. And just curious how how everyone's sleep is. Has it been affected your loved ones? Do you notice anything? Yeah. And it'll be interesting to have this conversation about sleep

There's a book called Why We Sleep. People who have read it swear by it. So sleep is super critical. Sleeping good. Great. Swell. Thank you for bringing it up. That's
Theoretically, if I was going to just have fun with different hobbies and I can easily stay awake for several hours and just sleep just very few hours every day carry on. But you're right. It does affect mental capability, irritability and things like that. I'm not quite sure about irritability, but yes, it does make a person more tired and trying to get at least 6 hours of sleep is paramount

And I turned the computer off to very dark and then put that on really quiet and it's so horrific it gets me to sleep every single time. Beta waves. I think they aren't. They sleep. Great question. Yeah, I'm happy with my sleep. I'm happier with my dream life because that's wild. It's like a whole other life. I get to live and Ria's. I agree

So yeah, I'm counting a lot of sheep, but also I'm trying to find some cool spots in the middle of the night. So for me, it's more like taking a few naps instead of a good night's sleep

Ten rats were kept awake forever until they collapsed. So it took between eleven and 32 days to kill the rats. They just died of exhaustion. No abnormalities, just deprivation of sleep. Other same thing would happen to a human if you don't sleep. I know. The research says there are so many biological processes. We consolidate memories, we restore hormonal balance, we empty the brain of neurotoxins, reset our immune system. It happens with me. I can sleep off a cold, for example

And you could tell, especially that socalled crabiness that I heard in this discussion here. If you don't get enough sleep, you child tell because the people are definitely crabby and not very likable. Hey, great question. Glad to be chiming in here. You all have a great one. Ciao for now

There's something about for me anyway, hearing something that's semi soothing but kind of boring and distracting enough where my own thoughts racing are kind of get silenced by the talking. Somebody saying something and I can't my own thoughts racing keep being interrupted by somebody saying something really boring. And then before I know it, I'm asleep and seem to sleep a little bit longer than without. So that is something that's new for me

Ah, yes. Sleep. I think that sleep is one of those things that we we all tend to struggle with these days for various reasons. I noticed you you listed depression and in your hashtags there. I just want to say depression. There are a lot of sleep issues associated with depression. Like, for instance, a really stupidly common classic symptom of depression is early morning wakening where you sleep for 2 hours and then you're just wake up

I'm 31 and I've experienced this lack of sleep for as long as I can recall my earliest memories as a child just laying awake, attempting to try to fall asleep. When I was about 26, I had stopped taking sleeping medications once I moved out and I moved in with my partner about I want to say half a mile away from my parents house and we had a really good sleep routine. We worked together in the healthcare field

It's not something that's super understood yet about sleep, and I hope that there's more information and studies to follow so that we can learn more about our bodies and adapt better and to just be the best healthier versions of ourselves. But thank you for allowing me to share, and I look forward to hearing from everybody else's responses

I would certainly say that my sleep has been definitely shortened and not as high in quality. Like I'll only sleep for like 4 hours instead of like six to eight. Like, like I normally did. So I'm not sleeping as long and I'm not sleeping as deep, and I'm not quite sure what to do about it, because then I'll wake up after those 4 hours and I'll feel fine. But I know that I any more sleep than that
