Tyson vs Jones

I thought he would be able to move a lot more. His movement would have been better, but it was horrible. It was horrible watching that s***. But on the other hand, Mike looked sensational. I mean, he shocked me a little bit. I didn't think he had that much left. He looked like he's got a lot left. He looks like he has a lot of fight left. And if he gets in shape, they might start talking about him

I thought some of the performances went on for a bit too long, and that's not to say I didn't like them. I definitely liked them, but yeah, just a bit too much. It was nice to see Israel Adesanya doing some of the fight commentary. Also nice to see Sugar Ray Leonard, who obviously is a legend for his own epic history with boxing, but yeah, I mean, long and short of it. Man

Mike only had two rounds to get down, so he doesn't have to go three rounds so he can just pretty much go hard the whole two rounds. So that's an advantage, Mike. Now, with what you said about Mike saying that he smoked weed before the fight, obviously, that s*** didn't affect him at all. If anything, I think it would probably help him

And when you're in the amateurs, you kind of learn how to roll with a punch and just you learn how to get hit without having a lot of damage. And that's something that they really haven't experienced. And I think that's the main reason why these guys just don't take a hit as well. You probably know more about that than I do

Hey, what's up, Phil? Yeah, but you know, the problem with Nate's athleticism is it doesn't convert into the hurt business. All the combat sports boxes and MMA. That's the hurt business. That's totally different in basketball, football, all that. It's way different when you got somebody actually throwing hands and feet at your a**. That's different. But Jake Paul, honestly, I didn't know that much about him either

Seth Mitchell was the guy I was thinking about

I think he got up, but just so wobbled that he can't continue. So yeah, I absolutely agree with you. And I think that's something that the athletes that take boxing on as a second sport don't understand that business or hurt and taking a punch, but yeah, great to hear your voice. And hopefully there's some more boxing cards that have some people that are a little bit younger. We can talk about here, too

We can get paid off this m***********, so they don't teach them any defense. They don't teach them anything. Just go out there, throw punches, throw punches. That's what got Nate knocked the f*** out. If he would at least duck, at least every now and then. It's okay to duck. You don't have to catch all the punches with your face, but they're not teaching that

This would have been paid for. I really want my f****** money back for this s***. Come on, man. So I see how the fight was going. And then I played out. I said, yeah, somebody needed a payday. And I feel like that's what that was all about? I feel like Roger must be broke. You know, Tyson ain't broke

And I worry about, is there any lingering mental effect because physical effect, I assume that's what a lot of people are talking about, like, what kind of physical limitations? I'm not so worried about that. I think they would find that out as he trained. But that mental effect when you step in the ring. Are you thinking about that at all? Is there anything that is a lingering mental aspect of that that's going to affect him in the ring?

We would watch Mohammed Ali, Sugaray, Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Tommy Hearns, Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez, Alexis Arguelo, Aaron Pryor. I mean, all these great names came about through wild sports, you know what I mean? And we got familiar with the fighter. So that's why they were able to make that pay per view money

And I just remember watching guys like him on a Saturday afternoon. Now I will say that the pool of fighters just is not deep anymore. I see that on a national and local level, there's not a lot of guys that you can put together to have compelling fights anymore. It seems so that pool is definitely shrunk. But, yeah, getting back to Spence and Garcia, Garcia is slow footed

And there's the old saying, you can measure the size of the dog in the fight, but not the size of the fight in the dog. So that's always when two men are trying to take each other's heads off, you just never know if anything can happen. But I like Danny. I really like him. I think it's going to be a competitive fight. I think it's going to be competitive
