And in case you aren't already aware, antisemitism means it refers to the prejudice against Jewish people, and it has manifested itself in many different ways throughout time, in the form of exiles or expulsions, just to name a few, the Babylonian exile and the Spanish Inquisition. It manifests itself in the European witch trials. If you think that the persecution of witches has nothing to do with antisemitism, you should go do some research, pogroms and eventually genocide

Hi Liora, thank you again for inviting me to have a discussion with you. Islamophobia and anti Semitism are topics that definitely need to be discussed more. And I'm excited to have a talk with you about it. So first of all, thank you for the perspectives and explanations you've given us about anti Semitism when it comes to Islamophobia. I want people to know that we also as Muslims in this world, we come in different forms
They think, oh, we're going to have this one character who's different than the rest of the cast, and that totally makes up for the cast being mostly white and middle class and not really having any interesting struggles. So, yeah, tokenization is a big way that antisemitism manifests also in beauty standards like Nadi was talking about, modesty is definitely a part of that

So the second point I want to make about how people assume that if you experience white privilege, you can experience anti Semitism, and this is inherently false because even if you have fair skin, you present as white and you are white and you experience white privilege on a daily basis because of this other parts of the way you present, the way you practice your religion can still be pointed out and persecuted because they are Jewish attributes Jewish features

It shouldn't be something where because people see that you're Muslim, they see that you have to be on one side or the other, because people see that you're Jewish, that they believe you have to be one side or the other
And a lot of people died for no reason for the same reason because somebody decided they hated Jews, and they wanted to kill them on that day. And they happened to be there. And it was really terrible. And it reminded me that antisemitism and that's not only continuous, always present, always looming over my head, but it may never go away because nobody really pays enough attention to it to make it a priority to end it

I think France is often painted as such a great nation, and France in many ways is a great nation. But the fact that people can express their religions when they walk out the door is very sad. I also want to talk about some things within the US educational system. Again, that perpetuate anti Islam ideals. I guess one instance is within the black power historical narratives and stories. I want to paint the picture for you

And I think it's ridiculous for people to believe that Jews shouldn't have a right to this land or that Arabs and Muslims and Palestinians shouldn't have a right to this land. Both people should be able to live cohesively in this area
Thank you so much for all the things you just said. Nadia, I appreciate so much of that, especially what you had to say about the Israel Palestine conflict, because if you're going to develop an opinion on it, then you you should be informed you should really do your research and don't impose your opinion on Jews and Muslims
