Tikkun Olam: Repairing the World

article image placeholdertikkun olam
So I bring this up because I would love to hear your thoughts on tikuno, even if you're not Jewish, I think that like I just said, everybody can benefit from the consequences of everybody implementing this into their lives, because if we're all putting in work to make the world a better place for those who come after us, then can you imagine the scale at which we will improve this world? Everyone made it a priority. We would see astronomical changes within our lifetimes

What do you think of this concept? How do you repair the world? #spirituality #religion #peace #humanity

More on Tikkun Olam

But as you can tell from the quote in the concept of tikunalam, it is not one person's responsibility to completely change the world for the better, so that the next generations may live in a perfect world. That's not the point of this concept. The point of this concept is to do what you can with your abilities, with your resources to make the world as much of a better place as you're capable of. And that is enough. What you're capable of is enough

One to one / let it ripple

Hey, thanks for sharing this, Deborah. And I love the concept of dekuno Lam, and I think it can be shared by all people of all beliefs from around the world because it has to do with just a certain consciousness and a certain concept of leaving a legacy. But the idea of being a part of that is very alive in one's own life. So of course, it has to do with the world to come. But there's nothing better than living a life framed by that concept

Or it was just like, natural right to be helpful and to make things better than when you come in. And later on, one of my mentors actually shared with me how important it is to be valuable. One of the things to be valuable is making places or companies or organization or situations better make yourself valuable in the space. But regardless, I wonder about that. What is making something better, right?

My perspective of a better world @MysticScientist

That is an amazing question. And thank you for hopping on this. Well, it's not only an amazing question, but it's also a very loaded one and a subjective one, so I can really only provide my opinion, which I must say is a Liberal one. So if that's not your cup of tea, feel free to listen to this. But in my mind, a better world is one where everyone is treated equally and with other same amount of respect
