When I started, I was really interested in the beak. And then it was very daunting to do the feathers. So I share it there with you. I have a Bengal Tiger that I've done as well as a tree frog interested to know if you've ever seen anything like this before, what you think of it. And I wonder how I could sell this art
Hey, Greg, this is a really great piece of art that you got here. I'm kind of blown away that you did this digitally. I can imagine. It definitely took a very long time. Pointalism is not easy. I've done some wood burning where I use pointilism in my art, and that, as you can imagine, just takes so much time because you have to add a specific amount of pressure if you want a certain color or a certain shade burnt into the wood

That took days, but I found that kind of interesting and challenging all the different colors, trying to mimic that, exploring the Blacks and the different Blacks to get the shading to get the pattern. That was really challenging really took me a long time to do. But I'm working on a gecko lizard kind of a spiny lizard. Gecko multicolored. That was really fascinating. I took a picture of it off of the television, watching Tiny World on Netflix. That was fascinating little documentary

And so here s the tree frog that I did. It was fun to do a lot of different colors and subtleties

And here's my Tiger. Bengal not sure if that's right. Bengal Tiger. But this one took me about a year because I got had decided aside to think about how I was going to approach it and the different layers and colors again from a photo reference
And for each alternating row of letters, I used my ballpoint wood burning attachment to do the individual points, so it took a lot of time, nowhere near as precise as changing color and trying to get the shape of an animal going, but nonetheless, very fun for me. And I've explored more with other point of spade projects that are more artistic, not oriented around letters, but they're actually in storage right now. So this is going to have to do for now

Greg, first of all, thanks for sharing this. You know, I just find it so great that you're actually sharing this while describing a little bit about the work as well. And the works are unbelievable. Personally, I don't know that I could spend a year on a project, and if I spent five minutes versus a year, you would not be able to tell the difference. I'm just not that artistic, but I really appreciate this art

And I created a book of Mandela's kind of coffee table book for myself of different Mandelas. This is one of them. This one took a lot of time. There's thousands of thoughts there, and there's a few Mandelas on the page. Originally started this as a form of meditation and redirection of energy and just a way to get quiet and to be creative and to just be present with myself and present with an idea of a Mandela

And so as I continue to explore this Mandela and move to the outer edges, he knows a real shift in the tone, and the color is much more muted. And sometimes it's sort of like our life, our lives, sometimes at different days, different times of the day, we suddenly find ourselves in this kind of less colorful, less hot, not nearly as cool, strongly cool or strongly hot emotionally

In this Mandala of mandalas, which I call Zoom, it's just a subtle reminder to give yourself the gift of zooming in and out of your life in and out of any given moment and see and observe how your perspective may or may not be evolving and changing and allowing yourself to kind of go with the flow o Namaste

I also think that you could probably design this if you wanted to into a batlike box of some sort that a consumer could hang on their wall, that they could rotate in and out different Mandelas, that they would be very nice just as original artwork. But again, if they push the button, they would be able to see it in animation
