"killing in the name of": released 30 years ago and still relevant
The first song that I was introduced to by Rage Against the Machine was killing in the name of now. I recently accidentally rediscovered this song and specifically the lyrics, which I never really listened to or paid most very close attention to when I was a ten, 1112 year old girl playing this song on Guitar Hero too. But now that I listen to the lyrics, I was like, Holy crap, this song really is relevant right now and for context. This song was released in 2021
