Is it a choice where we say yes, I'm choosing to love this person? I'm curious. I mean, there are some funky love triangles that happen in our lives, and I'm sure that we've heard of situations where someone falls in love with their best friend, but it's weird because it's not ideal. So in those situations, are we choosing love? Like, is love a choice in those situations? It doesn't seem right

And I knew from the beginning they liked me, but I didn't know how far I was going to go until I confess that I had feelings for them and we started going out and stuff. We were already like talking every day and it just kind of felt really natural. But I was young and that lasted multiple years, and unfortunately it was not a good relationship, so I do not think do do, do, do we choose who we love?
A lot of times we go on physical attractions. Men go on how women shape. Women go on. He's so handsome, tall, how much money he gets. You have to be compatible. You have to be soulmates and a lot of people. I'm not saying I'm not trying to scare you in your marriage hanging there with heaven, God. And you guys and love one another until you part. But a lot of people don't do that

So I had a friend who had a crush for me. And my goodness, did it change, like the way we interacted because it just did they honestly believe that you can choose who you love? And I was like, out of all people, why would you choose me? I feel like this is an issue in our relationship and our friendship. Now, that doesn't make sense to me because it was more than a crush for them. They felt like they love me
That being said, while you can't choose who you love, you can choose how you act about being in love and how you think about it and how you go about expressing that love. And for instance, in my case that I was just referring to, I fell in love with a friend of mine when I was in high school and I knew it was just a bad idea. And so I just sort of tried to suppress it and get over it
