To the women at Swell

I met my wife 53 years ago and she was a size three, sometimes a size four, and weighed in at £105. Today she is a size eight and she weighs in at £125. I tell you this because I want to set up the story that happened to me last night. We were watching a special Fiddler on the Roof. It was about a two hour special about the making of Fiddler on the Roof, and it was very enjoyable as we shut off the television and went upstairs

Was my wife wrong?

But they were apparently newly married at that time. You guys have been married for a while, so don't know what to say there, but yeah, so there is no justification, but there is. And that's not a good answer. But that's my answer. But thank you so much. That was hilarious. I was great set up a great storyteller. So thank you for that

Hi Bouquesh, my wife is absolutely fine. No hormonal problems that I know of. It's me who has the problems, but what the h***? You show me a happily married man, and I'll show you a man who is afraid of his wife and who lives this day by day being corrected for all the stupid things and all the faults that it has

Weight is a pain point

And I'm sure that weight must definitely be one of those for me personally, it is because very often I feel that men trivialize a lot of body weight issues that women go through, because the kind of changes that we undergo and she might have undergone in the last 53 years, having kids dealing with situations where you're not really in control of your body, because of the multitude of responsibilities you have and lack of time or energy to be investing in, trying to get back into shape, so on and so forth

And I'm kind of like that's the thing with empathy. See, if someone has not walked a mile in your shoes, we don't know. So even as a woman, you're right. You're absolutely right. The changes that go through the childbirth and all of that is just horrendous. I'm only going through the changes of being 48 and just gaining weight, and I don't like it, and I don't like it. But it is what it is

You potentially could of killed a moment. @Howie

Well, Howie, I'm not a lady, but I think I can understand your wife's frustration. First off, you go to touch her buttocks and she maybe let an eyebrow go up like, Howie, where are you thinking then you break into song about when she had a small a**? Definitely a no no. If you would have not have touched her

Just for the record. My wife laughed hysterically as she was pouring the water on my head

And I don't know why, but it's just this mental cancer for us. It's like, oh, my God, I'm so, oh, I've gained weight. It's the worst thing ever. So maybe that's another sensitivity spot. But anyway, please share more stories. Harry, I'm enjoying this. Alright. Catch you later. Bye

Howie, given the number of years you've been married, you should know the answer by now. The woman is always right. There is no other answer to that question
