Hi, everybody. Welcome to the Gardening Swell Cast. We are here today, sitting in this beautiful garden with lots of plants around us enjoying the idea of what is touching my heart. When I look around at the garden, I'd love to hear what everybody else is doing in their gardens and what's touching your heart. Are your children in this time of covert entering into the garden? Are they growing things? Have you got a passion project that you're trying to work on?

And when I finally ripped them out roots, I thought it was going to be an arduous task. It was not. I didn't realize that those succulents have cobweb roots. They're very delicate, just pulling those things out left, right and center. I got rid of all of them. They're prolific in my town in Western Australia. So I put them in the green bin to be recycled with green compost. And guess what, Ruth? Guess what?

Good morning, Georgie. I love that little story and the telling of it. Thank you for the question. Fran, Japan is so beautiful and I'm so happy that you have had success with them. So that means you have so much option to plant even seasonally. What my question to you is, what is the light like in that area? Let me know what the light is like that could become a really useful bed for you. You could change things

Twelve foot long. Do you do feet? I can do meters as well. I can compare it. It's in the shade in the morning, and it's in really quite intense heat and sun in the afternoon in the summer here. So obviously it's the same pattern in the winter. But Perth, West Australia is very hot. It's going to be 36 degrees Celsius today. It was 41 degrees Celsius yesterday
