The Naked Truth (about everything)

article image placeholder...I’ll never see a poem as lovely as a tree
When I came home, I caught up on some swells, and I came upon Michael Hilliard's post about Lake Chad, which is a region I never knew about before, near Chad in Africa very disputed area that is being encroached upon, first of all, by climate change, 9% of his going away. But it's being disputed by a bunch of factions, terrorist organizations like Boko Haram and people who want to take over that very strategic area

Even without cell service - this tree broadcasted a simple fact.

True that I've had a lot of similar thoughts during the time at Kobed, just sitting out in the Woods and just realizing that none of, like, these trees or these birds or these bears are not being affected by this virus, probably indirectly. But actually, I think they've done better since people have been traveling less. But yeah, I just keep thinking, oh, this is here. This is here for us, and we need to take care of it
