Are critiques necessary before the enjoyment of guilty pleasures ? And if you don’t partake, is it a betrayal of the community you represent ?
This is a question for all my thinkers and change agents. Let's say you're in a community. I'll say my own. Let's say you're in writing and rapping you're in both and what we pride ourselves on in the rap community. For those who really write the wraps and are more lyrical and use metaphors and analogies and word play. We pride ourselves on those things. We're actually saying things. We're actually storytelling

I wouldn't say I'm a purist in that. If a rap isn't a certain way, then it shouldn't be made. But I just have to find it in my own way. I can remember when south rap was coming out. I was heavily against it, and it took me some time and through my kids mom that I actually would hear some songs that I would like an artist I would like, such as Zero and Whatnot? He's been out for a while, though, and that's somebody you just recently got introduced to, so I would have to know your taste prior to finding Earl. But some indie are introverted rappers are Milo M-I-L-O Odyssey Odd I-S-E-E Saba no name Donald the Genesis. I think that's his name science with other Z, meaning I feel like you wouldn't know him because he works with Malibu often. Who else?

Oh, I've been into Earl Sweatshirt now, probably for, like, five years. And I'd say, Tyler, maybe eight years, six to eight years, something like that. So I've I've known of them for a while, but I was only recently put onto that. Their type of genre of music is now called introverted rap music, introverted rappers. And it's a certain style to it that is its own unique thing
