When should you give up on a book?

Hey, swell. So I would love your thoughts on something that I've been thinking about a lot. Some of you may have noticed that I started a new Swell cast called Tidying the Shelf in which I discuss the books, books I'm currently reading and trying to finish in an attempt to further appreciate my bookshelf. And I should say my bookshelf is filled to the Max, and I have books all over the floor lining my little reading room as well

But sometimes you just have to have that sunk cost, like right now for me, I've already hit my hundred book this year goal so I can wait. I can hold off, but I have to really seriously look into my commitment zone also. Alrighty, well, I will see your book club, so I'll catch you later. Bye

If I find that I'm losing interest or I'm unable to just relate with the happenings in it. So I take a break and I come back to it after a week or so to see if I'm able to kind of start from where I left off, and sometimes it also helps when I go back a few pages and then start over to let me ease into the book once again and try if I can pick things up
