Hey, everyone. So I started watching something last night because I really, really needed a break from this past week of nonstop watching and listening to the news for all the updates on the election. Of course, I picked something super light and chill joking. I did not a documentary series that I've been wanting to watch for the last several years, but wasn't sure I was ready for it quite yet

I started looking up more about the case after I finished, and there are still just so many questions that I have and I don't want to give too much away in case you haven't haven't seen it yet. But if you see this later and you happen to watch it or start watching it, I'd love to know what you think. So we can chat about it
Hey, I'm not quite sure how I missed this well of yours, but yes, I have watched The Keepers. I think I saw it a month ago at the recommendation of good friend, and I was deeply shaken by what I saw. I am not a person who was really into this true crime kind of documentaries. And this was, I think, the first of the genre that I had seen

But I think part of it is because so many of these stories I'm thinking of another series I watched this year. That's True Crime. It's called All Begone in the Dark, and it reminded me of what I found so inspiring and beautiful about the Keepers, and it's what you mentioned about the community of people who come together and for years are doing the Detective work that the police should have done and should be doing in order to try to solve this case and injustice

And what I think is so beautiful about this series is seeing how siblings, students, cousins, like so many people that the sister positively affected have turned their grief into action to hopefully find justice. And that's so amazing. Another point that really got to me was discovering that Sister Chesnik had feelings for one of the priests that she worked with. And they did a reading of one of the letters she had written to him
