Watching Now: Virgin River Season 2 on Netflix 🏞

article image placeholderVirgin River Season 2 | Official Trailer | Netflix
So what do you think? I immediately started watching last week when I got the alert that the next season was available. That's right. Virgin river, season two. I'm embarrassed to admit how deep in I am of season two already. Considering it was just released this past weekend

A guilty pleasure if there ever was one https://s.swell.life/SSHrMwP291T6w4H

End of Season 2!

Will Jack live? Will Mel lose another love? Tragically, we shall see the end of season two of Virgin River is so dramatic. I watched it last night when I was finishing putting together my new desk. And while I loved every moment, but also laughed a lot because it's just so much drama, so curious to hear what you think if you've watched and finished it already as well
@SeekingPlumb

lol Exactly!

Okay. You know, those Christmas romance movies, they come out every single year. I think, like, Hallmark has won every single day for, I don't know, the month of November. Now we're seeing them pop up on Netflix and Amazon and everywhere. I don't don't know why I originally ever watched them because there are so many eye roll worthy moments in there. They're so predictable. The casting is always the same

@SeekingPlumb 😹

There's just something about when Jack makes that face when someone's kind of mean to him and he can't believe it. And he's so perplexed. And there's something about just really wanting to see them both given to love that is weirdly, addictive. And it feels like candy. I know it's not nourishing me. I know I should stop eating it, but what one more piece of candy or something like that

Oh, my goodness. Yes, he has this, like sad, lost puppy dog look, it's like imprinted on my mind. And I don't know what it is either about, you know, just wanting them to end up together there. I can't even come up with a good reason. I think about another guilty pleasure is The Bachelor franchise. I don't know why I watch that one. I tell myself, it's because people are fascinating

@SeekingPlumb Love Is Blind!? Bachelor watch party!?

When I was in grad school, there was a group of us who would watch it every week, and I had never seen it before, and I kind of became obsessed, and I haven't been able to bring myself to watch regularly on my own because I think when I'm watching it with others, it's easier for me to convince myself that I'm not really into it
@SeekingPlumb

@bowie

And I guess one of the reasons why I'm not too keen on watching it in person. With someone. In person with someone. Yeah, that makes sense. Okay. Anyway, my mirror neurons are like an overdrive. So if I'm watching them and they're super happy and they're wrapped up in this moment and they're just feeling all the feels, I might be thinking, you don't really see this person fully. You're missing this
