Hi, friends. So here's a mini book review. The the, the, the, the, the, the the Prophets by Robert Jones, Jr. Novel. Bravo. Bravo. Indeed. For a debut novel, now the storyline, it's time of slavery. You've got a couple of the slaves who are. Well, it's LGBTQIA, so they are involved with each other

I do imagine that that would be a little more difficult on audio, though, like following time like that at so that's a good thing to consider what filled the place of that book now that you finished what's the new book you're reading

Because I listen to it twice other speed and love the way it is starting. It tells you a story. Yeah. The way it's written. I love it. And I'm trying to think to myself like, going, Aren't books telling you a story yet? They're not written in that way. They're not written in that narration. This one. I don't know. I'm trying to think the way it's written

I didn't realize it had come out, so I'm going to have to add that to my list immediately. And you just made me realize that I should reach out to Emily and see if she'd be willing to talk about the book with us here as well. So I'm going to do that. And I'll let you know what she says. Hopefully she'll eventually be able to have some time, and maybe we can all talk to her. That would be amazing

I think a month is that good. So please ask for me. Yeah, that's what I'm listening to. Plain bad here and thought is absolutely wild and crazy. Jealous. Jealous, jealous. Okay, that's it. Yeah. I will talk to you later. Bye

I think for this book since it's a period book, it's what takes place in the early 1900. And so I just love hearing writers talk about their process. So I will tell you she did get back to me already today

In all seriousness, if an author was coming out of my pocket, would I really do that to their book, or would I not? And how authentic can I be if I felt that way about that book? And I didn't? And also, if I were to do that to their book, and my opinion, by no means is a good opinion or the right opinion. I mean, heck, you liked Long Bright River. I didn't, right
