When to call it quits

I got a question for everybody who podcasts. At which point do you say this ain't working? I give up. I'm out, you know. I mean, I'm trying to do a good thing and we are doing good things in the group and the organization. But the podcast is going nowhere. I'm starting to feel like I'm wasting my time. Any advice

About to give up.

@SeekingPlumb

Here's what I did, but that's only one person's approach. Best of luck!

And then one question led to another, and it helped me decide whether I wanted to continue or what I wanted to change in order to reach those goals. In the end, after doing it for about a year and a half, I decided to take a break, but it was more because I felt like I didn't have much to say and I may return to it at some time at some point

What I say in all seriousness, though I agree with Seeking Plum, I think it's a really difficult thing to decide if it's not working, though. You've either got to change the format completely or get out ma'am and hit the road

This is a number of questions to sort of re anchor you and set you back on a path where your success is more clearly defined. If it isn't already, I'm making a number of assumptions here. I think the other part of this, though, is are you still enjoying it?

Or even if that gap is already filled in some capacity, how am I doing it differently, more creatively, more effectively, better than the other people that might be doing something similar

Going nowhere?...

Hello there. It's Aki from Switzerland. Why do you think your podcast is going nowhere? What do you mean, it's going nowhere? Because there isn't enough audio. It's going nowhere because there is no backbone to it. So you don't really know what you want to podcast about. I it doesn't relate to your product. Yes, that's the first question

Waste of time? Only your feeling?

Zaki again. And why do you think you have? You are wasting your time because people don't respond because you don't have enough audience again. Yes. To me. Sometimes podcasts related to a company are not necessary to promote the products. So yes, that's also a question. Is the podcast necessary to promote the podcast? If it isn't, if it's too much work for the result, then possibly you have to change direction

This is natural. Whatā€™s next is up to you.

I think the difference between a successful podcast and one that's not is just certainly celebrities jump into this space all the time, and they bring their TV viewership and they bring all their followers and stuff. But for the rest of us, it's a mess until it's suddenly not. If you just refuse to give up, it takes off eventually, because almost everything has an audience. You just have to find that audience

Hey, I'm also gonna reshare another thread where I'm discussing the topic of promoting your podcast. Now to really encourage people who have podcasts and have sort of their routine down, come over and talk about what you do. And maybe we can really help some people out who could use some ideas, just brainstorm a little bit, maybe pick up a few things that they're not doing yet
