So when the news broke that a second entry in The Haunting series was on its way, I was excited. And when the early reviews came in this past week saying things like even better than Hill House, that was my trailer guy thing again. I don't know. I was really excited. I mean, better than Hill House. And so this weekend, just like that October weekend in 2018, we went through all of The Haunting of Bly Manor. Was it as great as Hill House?

I'd just like to add there is no one that I know that I recommended Hill House to that watched it and didn't love it. That includes the horror fans. I know. And I agree with you. Horror has been really. I don't know. I don't know. Maybe it just can't be done well anymore. I don't know. But anyway, Hill House for a series was fantastic. It was such a great surprise at the time

I mean, that's my personal take, of course, but on the brighter side, I love the recurring cast. I think they did a wonderful job of playing their roles out so well, and the setting was quite atmospheric. The gorgeous minor and the quaint English countryside that in Flora's Worth could be described as being perfectly splendid. Excuse my accent. Definitely. The series was less scary than The Haunting of Hill House

We're putting a bow on this, but it kind of made more sense in the story that they developed, but even that was only developed at the penultimate episode. So I don't know, it's just kind of weird, and it just took such a long time to get there. A friend of mine said that they were currently on what feels like episode 937 and still waiting for it to pick up. And I think that pretty much puts it in a nutshell
