Beauty Filters - Should Social Platforms have Augmented Reality features to "improve" you?

article image placeholderBeauty filters are changing the way young girls see themselves
On Swell, you may have noticed that there is an emphasis on authentic conversations. We encourage people to be who they are. This is one of our guiding principles. We don't want people to feel like they have to put an afraid. Our choice of audio is immediately am our choice of asynchronous sponsors where you can take your time and gather your thoughts before applying. These are all intentional design elements which hopefully encourage you to speak in a direct, raw, and honest manner

You become very self obsessed and their whole profile is just selfies of them posing in different positions, showing off their tattoos. Yes. You want to be confident, you want to be happy about yourself, how you look. But Where's that fine line? If you're using a platform just to constantly post pictures of yourself, that's not healthy. I don't know. Let's debate about it. Anybody. Maybe they disagree with me. Come on, and we'll talk about it
