2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry awarded for CRISPR
Congratulations to Jennifer Dougner of University of California at Berkeley, and Emmanuel Chappentier, who is the director at Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology in Berlin, for winning the 2020 Nobel Prize in Ms. Tree for the work they have done on CRISPR CRISPR is the technology or technique for editing DNA, or our Noble committee said to rewrite the code of life
And we had students as young as 1112 years old that were basically Wizards when it came to using CRISPR. And we're doing just some tremendous work on it. And I found it fascinating to hear from them and see what they were doing. It's just crazy to think that we have this technology now, but not only do we have the technology, we have children that are becoming experts in how to use it. And I think that that is just incredible
