In Memoriam - Sir Sean Connery

article image placeholderSean Connery: James Bond actor dies aged 90
Sean Connery did a lot of great work after James Pond as well. The Untouchable comes to mind Indian and June and The Last Crusade great movies. And apparently he also almost took the role of Candles in Lord of the Rings. And I think he would have done a fantastic job. I think that was a missed kind of opportunity in his career. But all that said it was that SUAV can spy from the British Secret Service

Adieu - rest in peace

So Sean Connery, Rest in peace. I'm sure that Sean Connery would be among those legendary actors who have fans from across the globe and for sure in India, I'm sure he has a huge fan base here as well. My dad, at least, is among those fans. So there are two generations in my family who are fans of Sean Connery. And I'd like to to remember him as William Forester from Finding Forester. That's a movie that's very close to my heart

Yes. Arish, I agree with you. I think Sean Connery was the ultimate, the original, and I really liked his James Bond movies better than the rest. Maybe not so much with Never say Never again. And I think you was a little too old for Bond in that movie, but that's kind of an offshoot of the Bond series anyways, so we can maybe throw that one out. But I really enjoyed Goldfinger, even like diamonds are forever with a Vegas setting

RIP, Dr.Jones...

It does say something about the art of an actor who, having created the most iconic character in film, went on to steer clear casting that followed to deliver an extraordinary body of work right up to the last decade of his life. I'm a huge fan of Mr. Bond, but I have also loved a lot of other non Bond movies as well. The Untouchable, The Hunt for Red October, the name of The Rose and, of course, Indiana Jones
