You are competing with yourself, the environment, and other humans. But like everything, there is a finish line. It may be ugly, but you will cross it. It's just the law of right. Moving forward. You're going to eventually cross the finish line unless you run all the way back. Why would you do that?
I have to run a half marathon when I was in middle school. And so, yeah, I feel like that taught me a lot about just, like, life, and it's exhausting and painful, but as you said, said you will eventually get there, even if it feels like it's so far away. And honestly, also, not focusing on the destination is always helpful. So, yeah, I really appreciate this post

Especially across the country, because you're in the woods, no one sees you. You could stop, you could catch your breath, you could walk, but it's you. It's what you decide you're going to do and what you're able to do in that moment, and you're going to just keep running because you're only accountable to yourself. You know what I mean?
