Dear Swellcast followers of Momma’s Jungle, I’ve got surprise for you!

I do not wish I was blind. I've never wished I was blind. I was blind one time, and then I did not know how long I would be blind. I had a mishap as a teenager with a sun lamp and awakened the next day unable to see anything. My eyes burned as I blinked. Trying to see. It was like I had handfuls of sand in my eyes

We’ve learned so much about each others’ views, alas, we’ve just begun. Let’s talk about racial perspectives and my surprise!

The people need to have the scales removed from their eyes and they really see what happened to help found this country and to under really get a fuller understanding of the history of this country and not just be told all the good parts of it and sort of put the bad parts to the side. And I think that, you know, the people who need to hear messages like that won't do it because it's way out of their comfort zone to them, and their comfort zone is their happy place

@richtaliaferro

And people in general are so caught up in their own lives that it's too much to ask of them to think about our lives. Right? The president of the United States will never understand being poor. Why? Because poor people don't become president, that's why. Anyone who goes into office as a president will never understand what it's like going without food for a few days to make sure your kids have food. They won't understand what it's like worrying every month
