Good morning, my SWELL friends. I chose headphones because my situation's a little bit different than most people. Not because my headphones are magical, although that would be kind of great. But I think that probably a lot of people use them to, you know, escape their troubles and go into a different world, even if it's temporarily; like a little commercial break from life. And I do that, too. But my commercial breaks are more like infomercials
Sure, I still put them on my head and listen through the, you know, the speakers, but I use them more frequently than most normal people, and I have a few different reasons. So what's something that you use that has a different reason for you and why most other people use it? I'm excited to hear these, so please be imaginative and inspirational

And so, yes, they are in my shield, my chest plate, my back plate, my sword, my, like, it is my armor for my, you know, well being and my peace of mind and helps me with boundaries

Well, and this is more of a question for you, whatever skills you use, like, maybe you have a book maybe you like to read at the end of the day, and that's your form of escapism. Or maybe you like to throw on the running shoes and go for a run, and you do it every day. Sure, to be healthy and get exercise and all that. But really it's to escape, right? There's so many things

I'm very conscious about what direction I go, how many times I make that circle, make that space. And, yeah, so the spoon is very important. I use a lot of cast iron cookware. So one of my dutch ovens, my camp dutch oven has three legs, and it really serves a purpose of a cauldron for me. I'll use it in that manner. A rolling pin is important to me. I can use it to do all manner of things
For me, the object of a wooden spoon is much different than what it is for you. For me, a wooden spoon means I'm about to get my butt whooped. You know, I'm from. I'm from a mobile home trailer in the middle of the wilderness back east, if that tells you anything. My grand, well, not going to go into my life, but wooden spoons for our family
You know, that's a. That's a pretty negative thing to be surrounded by people that are like that all the time. Because then it's kind of like. It's kind of like riding a bike uphill, and you have it in 10th gear, and your feet are pedaling, like, a thousand miles an hour to move an inch. Right
